Experience

Booking Process
  1. After choosing your preferred trial day and time, you would receive a confirmation email with the exact date of your makeup trial.
  2. Your wedding makeup trial can be anywhere between 2 days to 14 days from the purchase date.
Wedding Date
  1. This makeup trial does not save the wedding date on our Face Candy Studio calendar.
  2. It is simply a courtesy service for brides who are unsure of the artist work, the eye shadow preference, the airbrush makeup look, or indecisive about getting makeup altogether.
  3. If you would like to have your date saved on our calendar while you plan, simply book a wedding makeup package that includes a wedding makeup trial.
Lash Service
  1. Your makeup artist would provide options for you to choose from at your makeup trial.
  2. If you choose to not get strip lashes, the price of your wedding makeup trial would remain the same.
  3. If you choose to bring or use your own strip lashes, the price of your wedding makeup trial would remain the same.
  4. If you would like to do bottom lashes, you should indicate that to the bridal liaison. There is no extra charge.
  5. We do not provide individual lash service.
COVID-19
  1. Your makeup artist would be wearing a face mask for the full duration of your makeup appointment.
  2. She would also use hand sanitizer or wear disposable gloves.
  3. You have the right to refuse service, and reschedule your makeup trial for free, if your makeup artist arrives and appears to be coughing or sneezing uncontrollably.
  4. If our artist considers your cold-like symptoms to be uncontrollable or impeding, she has the right to refuse service, and recommend you reschedule with a $15 fee.
  5. If you feel you are too sick to do your makeup trial, you may reschedule your makeup trial with a $15 fee.
  6. On the wedding day, if you feel you are experiencing symptoms, please WhatsApp or email us immediately so your makeup artists can wear extra protection.
  7. If your makeup artist arrives on wedding day, and you appear to be coughing or sneezing uncontrollably, a $100 inconvenience fee would be charged before services are rendered.

  2. All makeup services are provided at YOUR LOCATION in Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, Bronx, or Nassau County (Long Island).
  3. Nassau County Includes Old West Bury, Hempstead, Garden City, Westbury, Valley Stream, Massapequa, Oceanside, Syosset, Mineola, Carle Place, Jericho, Freeport, Great Neck, New Hyde Park, Long Beach, Rockville Centre, Farmingdale, East Meadow, Bethpage, Levittown, Bellmore, Plainview, Uniondale, Floral Park, Roslyn, Port Washington, Elmont, Floral Square, West Hempstead, Hewlett, Malverne, South Hempstead, East Rockaway, Lynbrook, Woodmere, Brookville, Cedarhurst, Island Park, Lawrence, Locust Valley.
  4. New Jersey is not included in our coverage area at this time.

Refund Process
  1. We do not provide full refunds for makeup trials.
  2. If you change your mind and do not get a makeup trial, you would be refunded the cost of the trial, minus a $15 scheduling fee. .
  3. If you do not like your makeup trial, you will not receive a refund for your makeup trial.
  4. If you would like to book a wedding makeup package after you receive your makeup trial, reach out to your bridal liaison to, first, ensure your date is still available. Once that is confirmed, you will receive a coupon code to book your preferred package minus the cost of the makeup trial.</>
  5. If you have an unfavorable experience at your makeup trial and Face Candy Studio shares in this responsibility, customer-friendly solutions would be provided to you.
  6. If your wedding date is postponed for any circumstance, you may reschedule your wedding date for free. However, if your lead makeup artist is unavailable on your new wedding date, you will receive a refund minus your makeup trial cost.
  7. If there are services that you no longer need that are bundled within your wedding makeup package, you would not receive a partial store credit or refund for unused services.
  8. If you need to discuss refund, or partial store credit at any time, you must initially put it in writing (with an accompanying photo) via email or text, even if you followup with a call.

  3. On the day of your makeup trial, and your wedding day, a representative would always be in the office, to serve any on-demand needs.
  4. The Face Candy Studio Office Team serves as a liaison between you and your makeup artist. We encourage you to keep your bridal liaison informed with your wedding party and wedding planning revisions to ensure your makeup artist does not miss anything.
